SmoothSkies is a passenger information and comfort app provided by Srinivas Venkata Modekurti. Contact smoothskies@soulacy.io.

Experimental estimates

The app estimates bump potential from sampled numerical weather-model data along an estimated route. It does not measure turbulence, know the aircraft's actual route or altitude, guarantee smooth conditions, assess flight safety, or provide operational aviation guidance. Weather, routing and schedules can change. Always follow airline and crew instructions and official aviation-weather guidance. Do not use this app to make safety-critical or piloting decisions.

Comfort tools

Comfort and family content provides general information and activities, not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Family content is intended for use with a responsible adult. Imported audio and private reflections are controlled by you.

Service availability

Version 1.0 is free with no purchases or subscriptions. Internet access is needed for searches and refreshed estimates. Saved offline briefs show their original timestamps and do not update offline. Service quotas, outages, missing data and platform limitations can affect availability. No particular forecast accuracy or notification delivery is promised. Alerts are periodic, not real time.

Your content

Only import audio you have permission to use. Submit honest feedback and do not include others' private information without permission. Private reflections are not automatically submitted. You retain rights to your content and permit processing of information you submit as necessary to provide and improve the service as described in the Privacy Policy.

Account and deletion

A guest account is created to provide server features. You can request deletion from Settings > Account & data. Using Start again afterward creates a new account.

License and rights

The app is licensed under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement where applicable: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ . Weather and flight data remain subject to their providers' rights and licenses. Open-Meteo attribution: https://open-meteo.com/ . Public aviation-weather data: https://aviationweather.gov/ . Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
